House Rules

Taking Care for Generations to Come

Please treat our home like your own, preventing additional charges for damages.

  1. Confine all eating or drinking to the kitchen, kitchen table, or patio only. No food in bedrooms, please keep food in common areas.

  2. We are in a neighborhood with year-round residents. Please be mindful of those living in the homes next door.

  3. Quiet hours start 10:00 pm.

  4. Garbage must be taken out to the garbage can and before departing on check-out day. Set garbage can at curb on Wednesday PM.

  5. Wash dishes before departure, and put away according to labels on drawers and shelves.

  6. Remove all sand and dirt from clothing and other items before entering the house. Do not sit on furniture, upholstery or beds before all sand and dirt is removed. Use the hose in the driveway to rinse off all of the sand.

  7. Do not sit on furniture, upholstery or beds with wet clothing of any kind, but especially swim wear. Stains from salt water, for example, tend to appear after a damaged area has dried.

  8. Removing shoes before entering the carpeted areas is appreciated.

  9. If you use the grill, please make sure to turn off the propane after each use. If the propane tank is left on a $20 fee will be charged.

  10. Inside furniture is to stay inside the house. No outside use please.

  11. No smoking: $500 fine for smoking inside or within 25 feet property.

  12. Pets must be pre-approved by The Aunties and for an additional fee of $50 per animal (no more than 2 animals will be approved at any time).

    1. Pet waste is not permitted on the property, walk your pets and clean up their waste.

    2. Pets are not permitted in the carpeted areas of the house or on the furniture.

  13. Dirty diapers are to be directly taken to the outside garbage. Sanitary napkins/feminine hygiene products need to be disposed properly in the trash, not flushed down the toilet

  14. If you break something, you’ll be responsible to cover the charges to replace it

  15. No organized events/parties without previous knowledge and approval from The Aunties.

  16. The house sleeps 10 guests (ages 12 and up). At no time should more than 20 people be on the property for any reason.
